About me, Valerie Bailey Grasso

Prior to 1997, I was a couch potato. I did not play sports in high school or college. I came from a large family. We called ourselves “big boned,” a euphemism for being overweight. A caring colleague saved my life by dragging me to a beginning women’s running group and to Weight Watchers.

In 2008, I became a certified running coach and later earned fitness certifications in several other disciplines. Along the way, I’ve completed six marathons, scores of other long and short distance races, and several triathlons.

I am passionate about helping others to improve their fitness, nutrition and health. I understand and can relate to whatever your situation may be in life. I like to share my experience with you and help you reach your goals.
